India passport photo maker
Digital photo for Indian passport applications through Passport Seva and Indian embassies. We crop your original photo to the official size and check head size, background and lighting. Nothing is uploaded.
Checking your photo...
- Check face, focus and lighting
- Replace background with white
- Fit to US size
- Verify every requirement
Face a window, stand in front of a plain white wall, hold the camera at eye level about 1 meter (3 feet) away.
Baby or child photo
Turn the photo so the head is at the top. Then continue. We skip face checks and you mark the chin yourself.
- Tips for baby photos
- Lay the baby on their back on a plain white or off-white sheet, or use a covered car seat.
- No other person (including hands) should be visible.
- Avoid shadows on the face and take it from straight above.
No-edit mode for US passports. The State Department says to submit the original, unedited photo, with no background changes or filters. We only crop and resize your photo, and check that the background, lighting and pose are right. If something is wrong, retake the photo.
Drag to move. Scroll or pinch to zoom. Arrow keys also move the photo (+ and - zoom). Dark or busy background? It is already replaced. Use Touch up to erase leftovers.
