Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information VisaPhotoFit (visaphotofit.com) collects and how we use it. The short version: your photo is processed inside your own browser and is never uploaded to our servers, and there are no accounts or sign-ins.
1. Your photos
When you choose a photo, your browser reads it and all processing (face and quality checks, background replacement, cropping, compression) runs locally on your device using software that your browser downloads. Your photo is not sent to us, stored on our servers, or shared with anyone. When you close or refresh the page, the photo is gone. If you leave the page to pay, your browser may temporarily keep a resized copy of the photo in its own session storage so it can be restored after payment; it stays on your device and is removed after it is restored or when you close the tab.
1A. Your PDF files
PDF files you open in the PDF tools (editor, compressor and merger) are read, edited and saved entirely in your browser. They are not uploaded to our servers. If you choose "Remember on this device" for a signature, the signature image is stored only in your browser's local storage and you can remove it at any time. If you leave the page to pay, your browser may temporarily keep your PDF in its own IndexedDB storage so it can be restored after payment; it stays on your device and is deleted once restored.
2. Information we collect
- Technical logs. Our hosting provider and content delivery network automatically receive standard request information, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time, to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse.
- Payment information. If a fee applies, payment is handled by our payment provider. our payment provider collects your payment details and email address under its own privacy policy. We receive confirmation that a payment was completed and do not receive or store your card number.
- Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message.
- Local settings. We store one small value in your browser's local storage that remembers that a download pass is active. It does not identify you.
We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell personal information. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for consent.
3. Third parties that receive your IP address
All scripts, AI models and libraries that run on this site are served from our own domain, so your IP address is not sent to public content delivery networks for them. Payment pages are hosted by our payment provider.
4. How we use information
We use the limited information above to operate and secure the Service, process payments, answer your messages, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
5. Retention
We keep technical logs only as long as our hosting providers keep them for security and operations. We keep support emails and payment confirmations for as long as needed to help you, meet tax and accounting rules, and resolve disputes.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example California, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal information we hold about you, to object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because we do not receive your photos and do not maintain accounts, we typically hold very little personal data. To make a request, email support@visaphotofit.com. We will respond within the time required by law.
7. Children
The Service is intended for use by adults and by parents or guardians preparing photos for a child. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Photos of children are processed only in the parent's or guardian's browser, as described above.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Because photos never leave your device, they are not exposed to us or to our servers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security of the data we do handle.
9. International users
VisaPhotoFit is operated from India. If you use the Service from another country, including the United States, technical logs and messages you send us may be processed in India and in other countries where our hosting and payment providers operate.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above, and for significant changes we will post a notice on the site.
